Chris and Sarah Ivey of Red Dirt Dancing are Texas-based dancers who love blending fun and finesse in their craft. With roots in the dancehalls and techniques from the studios, they see dance as a lifelong journey of learning and growth.
Traveling across the United States, Chris and Sarah teach group and private lessons, organize workshops and corporate events, host dance competitions, and perform at festivals and shows. Their talents have even landed them in several popular country music videos. Passionate about helping communities grow, they aim to strengthen connections through dance. Above all, Chris and Sarah cherish the joy dance brings to their lives and love sharing that joy with others.
Juan is a professional Country Swing instructor and competitor based in Phoenix, AZ. Known for his leadership and influence, he has helped shape the structure of Country Swing and performed on prestigious stages like the Stagecoach Country Music Festival. As a dancer and community leader, Juan continues to inspire and elevate the Country Swing community.
In addition to his accomplishments in Country Swing, Juan has rapidly climbed the ranks as a West Coast Swing competitor, earning over 60 All-Star Division points in under a year. Jacob traded his baseball dreams for the dance floor in 2003, quickly becoming a top competitor in the country bar circuit. Over his career, he has earned 33 Champion Belt Buckles and multiple national and world titles. Professionally trained in ballroom and West Coast Swing, Jacob’s dynamic performances have been featured in music videos for artists like Kevin Fowler, Josh Turner, and Midland.
Now based in Boise, Idaho, Jacob mentors a vibrant dance community while sharing his expertise nationwide. Guided by his faith in Jesus, he is passionate about inspiring confidence and character through dance. His commitment to building communities and fostering growth drives him to travel, teach, and bring the joy of movement to others.
Danya is an Arizona-based dance instructor and competitor who holds an All-Star ranking in country swing and an Advanced-level ranking in the World Swing Dance Council. With a solo dance background, she specializes in musicality, styling, and technique, helping dancers elevate their confidence and skills through her teaching.
Dedicated to growing the dance community, Danya travels across the country to teach, compete, and inspire. She fosters connections and creativity while building communities in Arizona and beyond. Her mission is to create welcoming spaces where dancers of all levels can thrive and connect through movement, leaving a lasting impact on those she mentors.
Kenzie has been dancing for over 15 years, starting in a studio where she learned and competed in numerous styles. By 14, she was teaching classes, and after high school, she fell in love with the country dancing community. She is a two-time Worlds Dance Hall Line Dance Champion and has competed and won in Two Step, Country Swing, and West Coast Swing.
As a DJ, instructor, and judge, Kenzie has shared her passion for dance across North America. Known as a dance influencer with over half a million followers, she began co-choreographing with Tara Bianco in 2022, earning top placements at UCWDC Worlds 2024. Kenzie is dedicated to inspiring dancers, growing the community, and continuing her journey as a performer and mentor.
Rick Dominguez has been a club and mobile DJ for over 40 years, bringing unmatched energy to every event. Currently, he’s a resident DJ with Borderline Presents, hosting 18+ country dance nights. Rick also organizes major events like LA Music Center’s Dance Downtown Summer Festival, where for 16 years he has introduced thousands to the country dance community. He’s also been a featured Stagecoach DJ for five years at Diplo’s Honkytonk Dance Arena.
As founder of the award-winning LA Wranglers, now in their 22nd season, and creator of Wrangler Weekend Los Angeles (WWLA), a four-day country dance convention, Rick is passionate about growing the dance scene. His goal is to make sure everyone has an unforgettable time—and yes, he takes requests!
Troy DeRosier is the co-owner of Dirt Road Dancing, based in Boise, ID, where he teaches Country Swing and Line Dance to dancers of all levels across the country. With over a decade of experience, Troy has a passion for building confidence and connection through dance, driven by his simple philosophy: "Laugh a lot, learn a little."
Dancing and music have always played a significant role in Troy's life, shaping his love for teaching and inspiring others. He thrives on creating a welcoming and fun environment where people can step out of their comfort zones, smile, and feel a sense of accomplishment. DJ Keahi has been dancing country line and swing for seven years and DJing for four. In that time, he has showcased his skills at conventions like The Edge, YESSS, NWDF, and Nomads Winter Convention, along with Southern California's iconic Stagecoach Festival. Known for blending great music with an infectious energy, he keeps dance floors packed and lively wherever he plays.
With a passion for creating memorable experiences, Keahi is excited to bring his talents to the Pacific Northwest. He aims to inspire dancers of all levels, building connections and fostering community through music and movement. Whether spinning the latest hits or timeless classics, Keahi’s mission is to get everyone dancing and making new memories with friends both old and new.
Anna Rogers is a proud member of the @pnwstompeders Leadership Team and is thrilled to be part of the inaugural PNWSDF! With nearly 20 years of dance experience, she has trained extensively in a variety of styles, including ballet, hip-hop, and modern country swing. Anna leverages her ballet training to help country dancers refine their body control, technique, and fluidity, making her a sought-after instructor.
Currently, Anna competes in the All-Star division for line dance and the Advanced division for modern country swing, earning recognition for her versatility and passion. When she’s not on the dance floor, Anna is hard at work pursuing her J.D. at Willamette Law or relaxing with a good book and her beloved dog, Pearl.
Haley brings 13 years of country dance experience and 10 years of ballet training to her teaching. She offers group and private lessons in country, line, and West Coast Swing at Shawn Gardner Dance Studio and Bushwhackers Saloon in Portland, OR. Haley also coaches the @pnwstompeders dance team and travels nationally to teach, compete, and perform.
A CTST All Star with 17 top-three placements, Haley was the inaugural CTST Annual Points Champion and is also an Advanced West Coast Swing dancer. While her competition journey began on the UCWDC circuit, her heart remains in the social country scene. Her technical yet fun teaching style focuses on joy, improvisation, and helping dancers build confidence, especially in her favorite dance, Two Step.
Shirley discovered her passion for dance later in life, starting with jazz classes as a junior in college and continuing for 12 years after. During the ’90s, she also took up line dancing but paused her journey for 20 years to raise her four children. Returning to dance in recent years, she has rekindled her love for teaching and performing.
In November 2022, Shirley began teaching line dancing in Hillsboro and expanded to Forest Grove by March 2023. She has performed with the Showcase Dance Team at NWC and placed 3rd in the Rhinestone division at The Edge Dance Event in 2024. In addition to line dancing, she enjoys teaching progressive pattern dancing and is excited to bring country swing to the westside while attending more conventions in the future.
Trained as an educator, Connor began their dance journey in a North Idaho honky-tonk, where they fell in love with the energy and connection of the dance floor. Since then, Connor has competed across the United States in country swing, West Coast Swing, and line dancing. While they enjoy the thrill of competition, their greatest joy comes from social dancing with friends and sharing their passion through teaching.
Connor specializes in teaching communication, musicality, and technique, empowering dancers to make informed choices about their style and movement. Their approachable and insightful teaching style creates a welcoming environment for dancers of all levels, inspiring confidence and creativity on the floor.
Nicki fell in love with line dancing in 2016 at Duke’s American Bar and Grill in East Portland, OR, where she was captivated by the music, movement, and vibrant community. With encouragement from her friend @linedancingwithkat, she began teaching line dancing locally in 2022 and has proudly been a member of the @pnwstompeders for three seasons.
Nicki’s organizational skills and enthusiasm for spreadsheets and lists make her an invaluable part of the administrative teams for @stompederstudios and @pnwsdf. She treasures the friendships she’s built within the dance community and feels privileged to play a role in its growth, creating events and opportunities that inspire others to share her passion and joy for line dancing.
David is a proud member of the leadership team for The PNW Stompeders, where he helps promote and grow the country dance community. He discovered country swing and line dancing in 2020 at @osucwdc open dance nights and quickly fell in love with the energy and connection it brought. By 2021, he began teaching locally in Portland, OR, and soon became a core member of the PNW Stompeders, performing and instructing across the Pacific Northwest.
Now a regular instructor at venues throughout Oregon and Washington, David is known for his passion, friendly teaching style, and ability to inspire dancers of all levels. He also travels nationally to guest instruct, sharing his love for country dance with communities across the U.S.
Jamie Lee has dedicated her life to spreading the joy of dance and inspiring others to find their rhythm. As a full-time dance professional, she is passionate about country swing and line dancing but also loves teaching various country western dance styles. Known for her warm and inclusive approach, Jamie creates a welcoming environment where dancers of all levels can thrive and grow.
Her mission extends beyond the dance floor—Jamie works to connect people and build a vibrant community through fun and engaging classes, social events, and workshops. By blending creativity, technique, and joy, she ensures every participant leaves with lasting memories and a deep appreciation for dance’s ability to bring people together.
Megan began her line dancing journey in 2002 and rediscovered her passion in 2016 at Stoney’s Rockin’ Rodeo in Sacramento. That same year, she attended her first circuit event, launching a competitive career on the UCWDC and World Dance Masters circuits. Megan has been a professional instructor for eight years, competing in solo, pattern partner, and team events.
A decorated choreographer, Megan holds two World Championship titles and three Crystal Boot Awards for her work with Move Radio and Line Dancer Radio. Since 2018, she has toured nationally as a DJ and instructor while also serving as a judge for Choreography and Line Dance competitions. Megan continues to compete with the Dancing Dragon team in World Dance Masters.
